Last month during my visit to Japan I had the pleasure of meeting the Minister for Children ( Francis Fitzgerald )  and the Irish Ambassador to Japan (. John Neary ) in Osaka .

We discussed the educational links between Japan and Ireland and what can be done to attract more Japanese students to Ireland , especially at Secondary school level .
